If you’ve no idea what Chaturbate’s Affiliate Program is then click this link and read our other post, but assuming you’ve already signed up for the Chaturbate Affiliate Program, then we want to talk to you today about something very important when it comes to starting and growing the business.
Should you go with the $1 per lead or the 20% Revenue Share per option?
To begin with, let me just quickly explain what both of these mean and then I’ll give my opinion of which is better, after which I would love your feedback in the comments.
Pay Per Lead (PPL)
This simply means that you get a commission for everyone who signs up to the website, however it comes with a couple caveats on the Chaturbate Affiliate Program, which is that you get $1 per Tier 1 user that registers for a free account on your white label or using your link. This means users primarily in USA or Europe, along with some other developed country, so if you sign up users in India for example you will only get $0.10.
It’s that simple.
20% Revshare
On the other had the 20% revshare on the Chaturbate Affiliate Program does what it says on the tin, you get nothing when the user just registers for the free account, instead you will get 20% of everything that they spend on the account that they created.
Example, if a registered user spends $20 you get a $4 commission.
$50 per broadcaster bonus
On either program you will still get the Chaturbate Affiliate Program $50 bonus for every model that signs up as a broadcaster and makes their first $20.
My Advice on whats best
This is probably going to seem obvious after reading the above, but I want to give you my reasons, the revshare option is by far and away the best option.
I have a couple reasons for saying this. The first is that even though it’s a free registration on the program, it is incredibly difficult to get anyone to register for anything these days and the majority of these will be from people who aren’t going to be tier 1 registrations.
The second reason is that doing the $1 per registration is an ongoing affair, you’re going to have to continually drive traffic…forever, so my advice would be the revshare because if you drive a tonne or registrations over the next 3 months, and then you forget about the site, chaturbate will continue to market to these people and even if you close your site down and they go to chaturbate.com’s main site, you’ll get your 20% cut.
